Bougainvillea Clinic of Tortola BVI, is pleased to announce the expansion of its services in plastic and reconstructive surgery with the addition of Dr. Christopher Johnson to the staff.
Trained in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Massachucetts Medical Center, MA, Dr. Christopher Johnson has practiced in this field for over 15 years and is licensed to practice in California, New York, Bermuda and now the BVI.
Dr. Johnson did his undergraduate medical training at Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA. This was followed by six years of general surgery residency ( including 2 years of research) in California and New York. He then completed fellowship training in Surgical Critical Care/Trauma at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles, CA before going on to his second fellowship training- Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Before embarking on his medical training Dr. Johnson also completed a 3 yr MSc in Biochemistry at the University of Oxford, in the United Kingdom.
Dr. Johnson performs
– Reconstructive plastic surgery on patients who have broken bones in the face, complex and elective hand and wrist injuries, skin cancer and congenital abnormalities
– Cosmetic procedures include, but are not limited to, facelift, brow-lift , eyelid surgery, breast augmentation, breast lift, breast reconstruction, breast reduction, tummy tuck and liposuction.
– Non-surgical procedures include botox, juvederm, restylane, sculptra, chemical peels and laser resurfacing.
